Abstract

The study explores the effects of poor sleep on problems in emotional regulation in working women, and the study aims at comprehending how inadequate sleep leads to emotional instability and the general psychological welfare of the women. The quantitative research approach was adopted and based on a descriptive and analytical approach, data collected on 200 working women by designing a structured questionnaire and analyzed using statistics software like correlation and regression analysis. The findings reveal that there is a strong positive correlation between poor sleep quality and emotional dysregulation and that sleep quality has a statistically significant predictive value to emotional regulation. The results show that insufficient sleep is related to greater emotional problems, but other aspects like work stress and lifestyle also contribute.
