Green Intelligence: Integrating Artificial Intelligence and Natural Language Processing for Sustainable Customer Engagement
Main Article Content
Abstract
The growing emphasis on sustainability has transformed customer expectations, compelling organizations to adopt intelligent technologies that foster environmentally responsible and customer-centric marketing practices. In this context, Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Natural Language Processing (NLP) have emerged as powerful enablers of Green Intelligence, facilitating meaningful and sustainable customer engagement through data-driven insights and personalized interactions. This study explores the integration of AI and NLP within green marketing strategies to examine their role in enhancing customer engagement while promoting sustainable business practices. AI-powered NLP applications enable organizations to analyse large volumes of customer-generated data, including online reviews, social media conversations, and service interactions, to identify customer preferences, emotions, and sustainability-oriented behaviours in real time. These insights support the development of personalized communication strategies that strengthen customer trust, improve engagement, and encourage long-term relationships with environmentally conscious consumers. Furthermore, the study highlights the operational benefits of intelligent technologies in optimizing marketing decisions, improving resource efficiency, and supporting sustainable value creation. It also discusses critical challenges associated with the adoption of AI and NLP, including data privacy, algorithmic bias, ethical governance, and transparency, which are essential for sustaining customer confidence. The findings demonstrate that Green Intelligence, driven by AI and NLP, represents a transformative approach to building enduring customer engagement while advancing organizational sustainability objectives and competitive advantage in the evolving digital marketplace.
